SONIX 30A ESC
Ian
Turner (Heliguy
handle - chopperaddict) says :-
The
Sonix 30 ESC was one of the first "proper" ESC's I purchased
after having the typical standard failure of the stock Esky ESC, with it
going up in smoke.
I
bought the Sonix with the programming card, which does make it very much
easier to set up than using the transmitter throttle. I have been
using it in various helicopters over a period of around 9 months now,
and really cannot fault the Sonix 30A ESC at all - it just sits there,
works great, and never gets very hot.
It
comes with a separate stepped BEC, which means it is perfectly safe to
use when you have powerful digital servos as well.
These
are a definite short list item for anyone looking to buy a new ESC.
Vincent
Chapman (Heliguy handle - fats flyer) says :-
I
have a few of these Sonix speed controllers ,the price is good, user
friendliness is brilliant via the program card and to be honest, I trust
this esc, it seems rock solid and only gets warm with my belt cp and HK
450.
